Corporate HANDS -- Caring Companies at Work

A collaboration of Houston’s leading employers, Corporate HANDS is dedicated to increasing the quality and supply of both child care and elder care in the communities where their employees live and work.

Corporate HANDS was founded in 1992 as an extension of a national organization, the American Business Collaboration (ABC). ABC was formed to address the business issues created by employees trying to balance work and family responsibilities.

Through two specialized nonprofit agencies, Collaborative for Children and Sheltering Arms Senior Services, Corporate HANDS designs and implements programs which provide counseling, education, information, equipment, resources and training to address the dependent care needs of Houston area employees.

To date, Corporate HANDS has invested over $9 million in dependent care projects and assisted thousands of employees in the care of their families.

Corporate HANDS is one of the strongest local business collaborations in the United States today.
